Marvel finally unveils its X-Men cast — Adam Driver, Sadie Sink and Christopher Abbott lead the 2028 reboot

Kevin Feige reveals the ensemble at D23: Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm — and Adam Driver as the villain Mr. Sinister.

Marvel Studios finally pulled back the curtain on its long-rumored X-Men reboot, unveiling the full ensemble at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim — the first time Marvel's mutants get their own film inside the proper Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kevin Feige introduced the cast on stage. Sadie Sink — who first appeared as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day — will lead the team, joined by Kit Connor as Scott Summers (Cyclops), Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm.

The night's biggest surprise came last, by video from Pinewood Studios: Adam Driver will play Nathaniel Milbury, better known to comics readers as the scheming geneticist Mr. Sinister. "I'm very excited to be playing Mag… nope. Even better. Nathaniel Milbury," Driver deadpanned.

Jake Schreier, who directed Marvel's Thunderbolts*, will helm the film, which arrives in theaters May 5, 2028. Feige teased that more casting news is still to come.
