The Game

Sticky Paws is a one-screen stealth game starring a round raccoon in a bandit mask. Eight handcrafted heists — a midnight diner, a museum hall, a garden party — each ask the same simple, escalating question: can you reach the loot and waddle back to your exit hole without being seen?

Core Loop

Guards patrol with visible flashlight cones that clip honestly at walls and furniture — what you see is exactly what they see. Cameras sweep arcs. Marked floorboards creak, and scurrying emits noise rings that pull guards over to investigate (which cuts both ways: deliberate noise is a tool). Bins and bushes hide you; the loot itself is the twist — carrying a whole wedding cake slows you down and forbids hiding, turning every trip back into the level's second act. Getting spotted means an instant, painless restart. Each clear is graded with up to three paw-prints: unseen, quiet, and quick.

Session & Scoring

Visual & Audio

Cartoon-noir: deep night blues cut by pools of warm interior light, chunky rounded furniture, translucent vision cones that warm from yellow to suspicious orange to spotted red, and a raccoon that acts with its ears and tail. Procedural audio: pad-pad footsteps, a two-note guard "hm?", the alarm sting, and a triumphant little fanfare when you make it home.

Technical Notes

Single self-contained HTML file, canvas rendering, deterministic dt-driven patrols, raycast line-of-sight verified against hand-computed cases.
