Weave Robotics Launches Isaac 1 — A $7,999 Home Robot That Does Your Laundry and Makes Your Bed

San Francisco startup Weave Robotics has opened pre-orders for Isaac 1, a mobile home robot that finds dirty laundry, folds clothes, makes beds, and tidies rooms — autonomously, for $7,999 upfront or $449/month, shipping fall 2026.

Weave Robotics, a San Francisco startup, has opened pre-orders for Isaac 1 — a mobile home robot designed to handle the two chores almost everyone hates: laundry and tidying up.

Isaac 1 stands between 3 and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a collapsible torso, rolls on a wheeled base, and is wrapped in swappable soft fabric shells designed to look at home in a living room rather than a factory floor. Underneath, Weave built its own actuators, remote actuation system, and safety hardware from scratch in San Francisco.

The robot ships with two core capabilities. Laundry Flow goes beyond folding: Isaac 1 finds and picks up dirty clothes from the floor, handles loaded hampers, folds clean clothes, and puts them away. On compatible machines, it can even load and unload the washer and dryer. Daily Reset restores order — beds get made, pillows and blankets are straightened, and toys, shoes, and clutter return to where they belong.

Isaac 1 operates autonomously by default, with remote human teleoperation stepping in only when it hits something it cannot handle. Physical design cues make it obvious whether the robot is active or idle, and the wheeled base keeps it passively stable. The companion app lets users schedule tasks or request them on demand, whether they are home or away.

The robot runs for 8 hours on a charge and recharges in 2 hours. Its two arms have 6 degrees of freedom each, with a neck at 2 DOF, a torso at 2 DOF, and the base at 3 DOF. Vertical reach extends to 80 inches. Pricing is $449 per month on subscription or $7,999 upfront, with a fully refundable $250 deposit to reserve a place in line. First shipments begin in fall 2026, starting with California and expanding across the US through 2027. Over-the-air updates will expand its capabilities over time.
